After serving 25 years in the Corps of Army Music, our “War” roll was medical, so I have been doing first aid all my career.
However when my youngest daughter arrived so fast, I had to deliver her at home! 3 weeks later my wife woke me up at around 0300, by punching me as Talisia had stopped breathing. Being handed a limp baby ins’t a pleasant thing, even more so when you are half asleep!!!
If I didn’t have first aid knowledge, she may not be 11 later this year!!
1 back blow was all it took, however a distraught daddy, hit her that hard she had a hand print for a few days, BUT! she is alive!!
This is WHY at A&E Training we are passionate that learners leave confident, as you never know when “it” may happen.
