What a Mayor
Celebrating Community Leadership: Thank You, Carl Tate
At A&E Training Ltd, we believe in the power of community, service, and stepping up when it matters most. Few people embody that spirit more than Cllr Carl Tate, who has just completed what he described as an “extraordinary and deeply rewarding” year as Mayor of Richmond.
Throughout his term, Carl attended more than 80 community and civic events, championing the kindness, pride and unity that make Richmond such a special place. From the Sentinel Boundary Walk to charity comedy nights, from the summer ball to the Remembrance Parade, Carl has been a constant presence supporting, encouraging and celebrating the people who make our town thrive.
His year in office also saw the launch of meaningful new initiatives, including the first Mayor’s Golf Day and an Acts of Bravery Service, both of which he hopes will become lasting traditions. And thanks to the generosity he inspired across the community, more than £6,500 was raised for local causes including Friends of the Friary, Just the Job Richmond, and the Richmond & Hambleton MND Group.
Carl’s dedication reflects exactly what we stand for at A&E Training Ltd and Heart of Richmond / Catterick service, resilience, teamwork and supporting the people around us.
We’re proud to celebrate leaders like Carl who strengthen our communities and lead by example. His commitment reminds us that real change happens when people care enough to get involved.
From all of us at A&E Training: Thank you, Carl, for everything you’ve done for Richmond. Your impact will be felt long after your mayoral year has ended.
