A Day out of the office
A&E Training Strengthens Its Commitment to the Armed Forces Community with RFCA Support and RAF Leeming Leadership Visit
A&E Training has deepened its long standing support for the Armed Forces community by working closely with the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for Yorkshire and The Humber (RFCA) after formally signing the Armed Forces Covenant many years ago, a pledge that reflects our values, our identity, and our ongoing commitment to those who serve.
As a veteran owned organisation delivering hands on, confidence building accredited training across the region, supporting the RFCA and the wider military family is not just a gesture for us; it is part of our core values and who we are. The Covenant reinforces our promise to ensure that serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and their families are treated with fairness, respect, and opportunity in both employment and training.
A Day Out of the Office: Leadership, Team Building, and Inspiration at RAF Leeming
To further strengthen our connection with the Armed Forces community, the A&E Training office team recently spent a day at RAF Leeming, gaining a unique insight into the station’s operations, facilities, and leadership ethos.
The visit offered far more than a tour. It was an immersive experience in modern military teamwork, discipline, and innovation. Highlights included:
- Engaging with RAF Leeming’s leadership team, discussing the station’s mission, its evolving role, and the values that drive its people.
- Exploring operational facilities, giving our team a first hand look at the professionalism and precision required in high pressure environments.
- Participating in leadership and team building activities, reinforcing the same principles we embed in our own training communication, resilience, confidence, and trust.
For our training staff, many of whom come from military or emergency services backgrounds, the visit was both a homecoming and a reminder of why our work matters. For others, it was an inspiring introduction to the culture of service that underpins our training philosophy.
Why This Matters to A&E Training
Our mission has always been to deliver training that is practical, empowering, and rooted in real world experience. The Armed Forces community embodies those values, and our partnership with RFCA Yorkshire & The Humber strengthens our ability to support:
- Veterans transitioning into civilian qualifications
- Reservists balancing service and employment
- Employers seeking high‑quality, accredited training
- Communities that benefit from skilled, confident first responders
Signing the Armed Forces Covenant formalises what has always been true: A&E Training Ltd stands firmly behind those who serve.
Looking Ahead
Our visit to RAF Leeming marks the ongoing relationship with the Armed Forces community. We will continue to champion veteran employment, support reservists, and deliver training that reflects the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
A&E Training is proud to stand alongside the RFCA, proud to honour the Covenant, and proud to play our part in strengthening the bond between defence and the communities it protects.
